I spent my birthday month in great capacity.

Let’s Get Into It
Farmer’s Market Hottie

6:23 Detroit Shop had the opportunity to participate in the Northwest Detroit Farmer’s Market for the first time!
We’ll be returning in July, don’t miss us!
Birthday shots

My birthday was a great opportunity to relax, decompress, and try new things.
I truly enjoyed it this year, and I know it set a tone for future years.
Foodie bits
In June, I was able to eat a lot of great foods.
I think my favorite dish was the steak fajita breakfast bowl; it was something I had never had before, and it was exploding with great taste.
My mimosa from Bierhaven Kitchen & Bar was pretty yummy as well.

My fave outfit

We all know summer fashion is not my thing.
However, this summer I am challenging myself to curate looks I actually like.
My song of the month
I fell in love with Asake’s latest album, but my song of the month was definitely “Human Nature” by Michael Jackson.
It just sounds so good to me.
I listened to it a lot at backyard parties or on the way to work.
It’s still in rotation.
Overall thoughts
June was one of those months that started strong and ended stronger. I saw the progression through the little steps I made. Which inspires me to continue to put in the work, always stay open to different routes, and embrace the woman I am becoming.
She’s truly blessed.
