At 26, I want to start enjoying more of my summers and not allow myself to feel restricted.

I found out something that influenced my behavior
Have you ever just scrolled through a post that changes your perspective on life?
Well, that happened to me this month.
I saw a post that made me realize I am safe. And that God truly has his hands on me.
That moment made me say, “Let me enjoy the life God has given me a tad bit more.”
Because I am safe.
How am I about to have the best summer
First, it starts with my mindset. I am welcoming new connections, new directions, and trying different avenues.
Going to new destinations like the farmer’s markets, trying new restaurants in Wyandotte, and buying new clothes to enjoy these new spaces.
Meeting new people over coffee and building genuine relationships.
I am choosing myself this summer
Meaning, I am going to do things that bring me joy, new outcomes, and not limit myself to what I am used to.
It’s powerful.
I am excited to use my summer as a testing ground for 26, a chance to explore and build with beautiful weather.

Looking good while doing so
Practicing new hairstyles, trying makeup looks, and working on my figure. Upgrading and influencing my natural look while also staying true to myself.
There’s a benefit in working on your look by not being afraid to challenge it.
I typically don’t wear a lot of makeup, but I recently learned I can do a simple look that doesn’t change my appearance to where I am unrecognizable.
Experimenting with more styles that enhance my curves and upgrade my aura.
Creating more
In the summer, I can create more outdoors, which gives me the best of both worlds. I can paint, sculpt, draw, and even write while enjoying the weather.
It’s fun for me to sit outside by the water and continue working on my crafts.
It’s truly time to explore
June and I’ve already done things this month that I’d never thought of doing and that makes me smile because it’s a promise that this summer already has a different tone.
I truly believe that it’s time for me to explore, try new things and build myself while enjoying the simple moments of life.
The world is truly a playground and I am ready to play, of course, in peace.
