Alright, before I even start. Let me say this, I went to Capitol Park on my lunch break. If I am not mistaken, I was wearing just a graphic tee and a random pair of hot pants.
Capitol Park isn’t super big and doesn’t require a fancy outfit, but you should look nice, especially considering this is a date.
If I were to go on a date at Capitol Park, I would wear a chic dress, maybe even a bit short, and some cute sandals.
Wait, what is Capitol Park
It’s in the middle of Downtown, kinda similar to Campus Martius, surrounded by restaurants, coffee shops, and clothing stores. It’s a small but mighty space to enjoy nature, have a quick bite, or have a chat.
Grab a coffee from Desert Oasis
By now, if you’ve been reading my blogs, then you know Desert Oasis is my go-to latte shop right now.
It sits right across the street from Capitol Park, and it’s the perfect coffee shop to grab a delicious drink before you settle down.
The prices are pretty solid as well.

Maybe you want to shop around a bit? Xhibition, a local clothing store that sells your typical hypebeast wear, sits in the middle of Capitol Park.
If you’re tired of talking on your date, go ahead and look around. You may even practice styling one another.

How can I forget that Juice Box Blend has $2 icecream cones all summer?
You can sit in the lawn chairs and enjoy your ice cream while laughing with your boo as you people-watch.
Eat yummy foods at the picnic tables, just don’t forget the wipes.
It’s an inexpensive date that can be very intimate if you plan it right.
