Bierhaven Kitchen and Bar is a Michigan hidden gem

In need of a Sunday brunch destination?

Who knew breakfast bowls would be my new holy grail?

I got my hands on a steak fajita breakfast bowl, and I can’t stop thinking about it.

Let’s Get Into It

What is Bierhaven Kitchen

A local American bistro in Wyandotte, Michigan, serving you brunch, lunch, and dinner options.

Brunch typically serves waffles and chicken, breakfast bowls, and mimosas.

You can order sides of ham, bacon, and toast.

Lunch and dinner options include sandwiches, wings, steak, cocktail drinks, and big ole shrimp.

The breakfast fajita bowl

My first meal was a steak breakfast fajita bowl including cubed hash browns, grilled onions and peppers, cilantro cream sauce and freshly sliced avocados.

With a side of marble rye bread.

I was a little nervous about the cilantro cream sauce, but it was actually delicious!

Mimosa Me

I started with a classic mimosa that was quite yummy with a strawberry garnish.

Trying something new

The sweet manager brought me out scotch eggs as an appetizer.

These scotch eggs were hard-boiled eggs wrapped in sausage meat and deep fried, garnished with green onion, bacon bits, and, I assume, Dijon mustard!

I’d never had them before; they were unique, something different.

Sweet Tart

Since it’s warm, I tried their raspberry vodka-infused cocktail.

Overall, it was my second-favorite drink I tried because I enjoyed the flavor; it wasn’t overly sweet or too bitter.

Big ole shrimp

Have you ever had a moment of, “This was made exactly for me!”

That’s how I felt when the shrimp came out.

I love shrimp, so that dish was an ultimate winner for me.

Would definitely recommend!

The fish bowl

My last drink was a fishbowl, which I secretly could not handle!

It was made of…

This particular cocktail came in a huge fishbowl and was for the coconut lovers.

One more dish

A chicken sandwich!

I love fries, so that was a great addition.

I tried a mixture of items on the menu, which made this trip even more interesting.

While my stomach was too full to enjoy the whole sandwich, I can say the next day it was good to go and pretty yummy.

Did I mention it had sweet pickles?

Thank you

Very grateful to Bier Collective for this opportunity.
