I know, I know.
Just a few weeks ago, I was like “ahh business guru”, make it shake.
That still stands.
However, I do believe to make a business shake, we need a full-time job because, honey, business ain’t cheap!
Let’s Get Into It
So, I own a small business
Owning a small business is a blessing; it’s one of my favorite projects I’ve taken on.
Creating is not cheap. Being an artist, entrepreneur, is not for the weak.
It’s a constant battle of trying to make things shake.
You need money to fund the biz
I have a job, very grateful for that job, but 6:23 needs to blossom.
Okay, you can say, “Oh, just promote 6:23 more.”
Yeah, I should. Disappearing off social media made no sense, but here’s the catch.
If I promote 6:23, that also means 6:23 will grow. I want growth, but more growth means more products, more demand.
Yes, we will be making money, but can we FILL THE DEMAND?
Scared of a tight schedule
The average 9-5 schedule scares me. I’ve done it before, but I know trying to balance both can be a challenge.
I am currently in a position where my schedule is flexible, it’s free, but am I taking advantage of it?

Business blooms when it’s time
I am not going to panic, I am not going to stress.
Yes, I updated our website. Who is our?
Yes, I updated the website this week and started posting more on Threads and Instagram.
Well, do one or two posts count?
Another week as a small business
I am blessed, though, because I know 6:23 can’t be rushed. Everything happens in due time.
So, I am okay with taking my time with 6:23, it’s just that battle of “Am I investing enough into my small business?”
“Should I work here or there to grow my business truly, or should I just trust the process?”
Last year, I saw 6:23 grow in less than 10 weeks, and it changed everything for the better. So, why am I rushing?
In my current job, I am learning so much about business. I know what the hot item is that sells no matter the price because it’s trending in that particular season.
Gloves and hats are easyyyy pocket change in the winter because people will always need them! It’s a necessity, just like sunglasses in the spring and summer. Businesses can make tons of money by offering necessities because folks will always need them in that particular season.
(Just an observation)
Everything does happen when it’s supposed to.
Business thought of the week
Do we need another source of income, or can I actively make 6:23 that source of income with the simple effort of promotion?
A challenge has loaded.
For the rest of April, I am going to promote 6:23 in some capacity and report back my results.
Let’s get to it.
