Your nighttime routine is just as important as your morning one.
A nighttime routine is important because it helps you prepare for bed more smoothly and efficiently.
Here is a guide on five things to do for a good nighttime routine:
Develop a skincare routine
If you’re into skincare, having a routine would be perfect.
I don’t use super expensive skincare products during the night but I like to use a face wash, a toner, and moisturizer.
Develop a routine that works for you.
Take a bath or shower
Taking a warm bath or shower at night is the perfect time to relax your bones and decompress. It’s nothing like taking a warm bath with bubble baths, bath bombs and just soaking your body.
Wearing a fresh pair of pajamas is also a plus.
Find a set time to go to sleep
Having a set time to sleep is great because it creates structure.
Find a time that coincides with your work, school or what works for you.

Journal before you sleep
Journaling is a great way to express how your day was and how it made you feel.
You can also write about things you were grateful about during the day, or even your to-do list for the next day.

Put your phone down
Not using your phone for a few hours before bed also helps decompress.
It doesn’t have to be for a long time but its good to just put your phone down and possibly journal, read a book or go to sleep.
