Vision board parties are a great way to spend time with friends or family while planning your goals.
It’s a moment to reflect, fill your tummies and laugh.
Here is a guide on how to host a vision board party:
Guest list
The smaller the guest list the better because it creates more of an intimate setting.
Supplies
For my vision board party, I told my guest they can bring their own specific items for their vision board but I also gathered supplies for them as well.
- Magazines
- Poster boards
- Scissors
- Glue sticks
- Washi tape
- Writing utensils
- Stickers
Decoration
Decorating is not required but it will add to the beauty of the party. Plus who doesn’t want to decorate their space and make it festive?
Just a few decor things to spice up the party:
- Balloons
- Tablecloth
- Garland
- Flowers
Food
Parties need FOOD. It doesn’t have to be a feast but some hors d’oeuvre would be great. I made a charcuterie board that featured cheeses, crackers, grapes plus additional goodies. They’re easy to make and typically can be served as one of the main dishes at your party because of how much protein and nutrients it has to offer.
Other party food can be chicken wings, pizza, desserts like cupcakes or cookies, and don’t forget the drinks.

Activities
Once everyone arrived, I opened the floor with an icebreaker. I went around the room and asked folks if they wanted to share their favorite moment of the year or a moment that they were super proud of.
I had my guest also do a journaling prompt for five minutes. After they were done, I asked them if they wanted to share.
It is not a party if you don’t have games!!! Playing at least one board or card game is a must because it gets everyone collaborative as well.

- Wine tasting
- DIY Craft
Goodie bags
This is optional, but I thought it would be nice to give my guest a mini charcuterie board of their own, lip balm, socks, and a face mask. All things related to self-care.
