DIY Holiday Christmas Shaker Card

Create a DIY holiday shaker card.

Am I the only one obsessed with Holiday shaker cards? Especially if they have snowflakes and things like that attached to it!

Here is a guide in how to make a holiday Christmas shaker card:

Materials

  • Cardstock
  • Double sided tape
  • Glitter , sequins , confetti
  • Stickers
  • Clear Acetate Sheets
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Craft knife
  • Ruler
  • Score board (Optional)

Gather card or card stock

Know what the base card is! You can buy cards pre-made or you can cut card stock to desired size.

Create top sheet

This sheet goes on the top of your card. It has the cut out of the design where the confetti will go. Typically it’s another sheet of card stock with a cute design.

Cut clear acetate to size

Cut your acetate to the size of the open space on top sheet.

You will then glue the acetate to the back of the top sheet (side facing card).

Start adding confetti

Mindful tip : Make sure every side is closed up with tape so nothing gets out.

Decorate cover

Creative DIY shaker card.

You can add letters or stickers to the cover to enhance the design.

My card lacked letters badly, but at the moment I did not have any.

It took me about 20 minutes to completed this craft and it was cheap to make!
