The first spotlight is going to musical artist Bbyafricka aka Jasmine Armani.
Bbyafricka is from Inglewood, California. She began as an Alternative R&B singer but now is a sultry independent rapper.
Her music is something different than what we’re typically hearing right now in female rap. It’s the wild clever lyrics over the heavy bass that intrigues you.
Saweetie hopped on a track with her for the remix of “Baby Mama C*****”, which is featured on Saweetie’s Pretty Summer Playlist.
On June 25, the artist released their album, BIGAFRICKA. Which shows her more lyrical side.
Their most recent work is an surprise piece of work called Freak of the Nile which has features from Young Thug, Quadie Diesel, Hook and Bearcap.
New York will be able to get a taste of the music on Aug. 14 at the Peep Show.
