Chandra Alilijah discusses the beauty of loving yourself in every capacity.

Be sure of you by C.Alilijah

Hey, you know you got power?

Because you are the narrator and actress of your own story.

Nobody holds the pen but God, and he expects you to help execute chapters that represent him, his word, his life, his love. He desires to see his creation excel in their journey of life; he’s the master creator.

He made you an artist, writer, doctor, social worker, teacher, and athlete. He wants you to show how well he has created you.

Are you sure of you?

To love you

Those 20-somethings.

“Don’t say this, don’t say that”

“Oh, be mindful of such and such because…”

No.

You have a voice; God gave you a voice. Use it.

Know how it is used, but use it.

For good, for speaking the truth.

People don’t like the truth, and that’s the saddest reality about life.

To not live in reality but to tell lies

It’s the cheaper option.

But it’s not personal with you, it’s personal with them.

As you grow and mature, you have to understand that people don’t live in reality.

They live in a lie. A fairytale land where they’re “safe,” but it’s not safe because one crack and it shows their true colors.

And it’s hurtful, well, not really because it’s not shocking, but it’s confirming.

“You really are that type of person”

Choose you

Choose peace.

Accept nothing less, accept nothing less.

Choose you.

Find peace to build because peace equals wealth.

You can’t live in peace and have chaos because it stunts. Leaves you stuck, going back and forth, replaying stories that don’t contribute to the you of tomorrow.

The Chandra of yesterday doesn’t control my destiny

That woman contributed to it, went through her trials and tribulations, but she transcends.

She doesn’t sit, dwell or spoil.

That woman rises above, even if it means she has to choose herself and let a few go.

Goodbye to what I used to accept

Very kind, very forgiving, but I am not a pushover anymore.

I don’t crave acceptance from the world.

No, you don’t have to like me.

I accept myself, I love myself.

I love to see my own final product because it amazes me, makes me feel good. It shows me, “Girl, you are exactly who you say you are.”

Never lose that.

To be a confident woman

You don’t have to show your body to feel desirable.

A woman of confidence doesn’t have to force herself into situations with others to feel seen.

To be a confident woman calls for you to embrace the woman you are becoming, live in peace, and shine regardless.

Man cannot take away your shine; God will electrify it in other ways.

That’s how powerful you can be and why you need to enjoy YOU.

Be sure of YOU.

With love,

C.Alilijah
