Okay, so you want to have a coffee date but alone?
What do you do?
Pick a stylish fit, grab your tote and drive to your nearest coffee shop. Easy right?
For some people, that’s very common and not that hard, but for those who are stuck on what to do, I have something for you!
Here are 5 tips on how to have the best solo coffee shop date:
Be intentional
Know why you want to do this solo date at the coffee shop and what you want to get out of it!
Even if it’s as small as you just want to celebrate you with an iced latte – it’s good to be intentional.
Having intent helps you process the steps you are taking in life.
Wear something groovy

Dress to impress yourself! Show off your style that’s intriguing and unique to you.
When I dress up, I always feel better and more confident in where I am going.

Bring an activity

If you want to stay busy and distracted – bring an activity. The best activities to bring to the coffee shops are ones that are typically quiet, and won’t disturb anyone around you. Aim for an activity that is small and easy to carry in your tote or backpack!
Activities to bring
- Journaling
- Coloring books
- Crochet
- Laptop
- Bead making
- Books
Visit a new coffee shop

Try a new coffee shop that you may have rode by and never stopped in.
Try a new coffee shop from social media that folks are raving about.

Try a new dish or drink
It’s nothing wrong with sticking to your typical latte with almond milk and a shot of espresso, but sometimes it’s okay to switch it up.
Try something new!
Rather it’s the new sandwich on the menu or the limited edition summer drink – TRY IT.
Bonus Tip: Reflect
After most solo dates, I reflect on them and ask myself did I actually enjoy myself or did I do it just to say I did it.
Reflection is a good way to weed out what you like and what you don’t like!
Have fun on your next solo coffee shop date!
