Since I am doing 20 days until spring, I wanted to create a guide on 10 donation centers in Michigan where you can take your old clothes and items.
Spring cleaning is one of the best things you can do to get rid of all those old clothes and items you are no longer using.
Knowing where to take those items can be hard, especially when you may not know where to take the items.

Ann Arbor PTO Thrift Shop
With weather permitting this donation center accepts gently used items on the following days and times.
Wednesday: 10 a.m.- 4 p.m.
Friday and Saturday: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Goodwill

Grace Centers of Hope Thrift Store Oak Park
Offers multiple donation centers throughout metro Detroit, accepting gently used items. I typically shop at the Oak Park location but there are other locations in Waterford, Sterling Heights, and Warren.

Neighborhood House Clothes Closet
This donation space is seeking a variety of new and gently used donations in multiple categories.

Closed: Monday, Friday and Sunday.

SOUL Resale & Resource Center

Deciding how to donate clothes or items
Be mindful that when you are donating someone else has the possibility of wearing these items. I typically only donate gently used items, or household products.
Some donation centers have their own requirements.
