It’s a Monday, but I released this a few weeks later.
Fall is one of those seasons when I crave intimacy.
Holding hands at the apple orchard, driving along, admiring the leaves, and listening to the latest R&B tracks of the season.
Wearing chic fashion looks and getting compliments from you.
Too bad you’re like MIA.
Where is my husband, Lord?
I know, it’s not proper to question God’s timing.
Sure, I’m bored. Craving a sweet man to take me on dates, cuddle with, and buy me sweet surprises like iced lattes from Dessert Oasis.
One of my favorite coffee shops.
However, I am also just craving intimacy.
Kissing, a bit of teasing, and cuddling.
To be touched.
Not in a freaky way, because whoa!
But in a “I want to be near you kinda way”.
A few new love songs added to my rotation. Some bring tears to my eyes, and others let me know you’re so close.
But where are you?
Sure, I could marry a man from H&M; I could date a man who wants to treat me well, buy me nice things, and spoil me, but I know my man just ain’t everybody.
There are so many suitors around me, even at the coffee shop.
But I’d rather you be facing me at the coffee shop.
Having you sounds so good, but God knows you’re so clingy.
You ain’t leaving once you’re here.
Am I ready for that?
I love my alone time. I truly do.
But this time, I crave you in every capacity.
Show up, because they’re trying to get me. They truly are.
Maybe I need to show up; am I hidden? Is it me?
Well, I guess we’ll see how this unravels because then I won’t be able to write about the love bug because he’ll be in my face.
I want him in my face, though.
Maybe it’ll be a subject. Dealing with the love bug and not craving him, being with him because he’s safe.
Okay, I am done.
See you soon, love bug.
With love,
C.Alilijah
