November is the month of new espresso coffee recipes

What’s your new recipe for success?

I totally made that up.

November, a month before the end of the year. A month that goes entirely fast. A month that calls for that new espresso coffee latte recipe.

I know you’re probably thinking, “What does that mean, Chan?”

Why is November the month of new espresso coffee recipes?

It’s not. I wanted you to read this. November is another month to act on something new and create a new recipe.

Literally, you could make espresso lattes on Thanksgiving morning, paired with whipped cream or toffee-flavored syrup, but that’s not why we’re here!

Since November is one of those months, the first two weeks go by super slow, then we’re at the dinner table kicking forks and spoons into the dressing (eww) and cranberries (extra eww). Use it intentionally.

How do we use November intentionally?

Start by making a goal list of what you want to complete by the end of the month. Having a goal list is a great way to stay on purpose, have something to look forward to and to better yourself overall.

While you may not complete every goal entirely, at least have two goals that you prioritize to get started on.

For example, a goal could be just waking up at a certain time every weekday to get your morning started. Or you may want to make your own espresso latte at home instead of paying $7 at your local coffee shop every other day.

Do you see how we got here now?

It was never about espresso.

It’s about taking each month as an opportunity to set goals that are well-intentioned and purposeful.

I did start making espresso lattes at home

Espresso shots are not cheap and going to get lattes every other day can start to rack up. I decided to try my own hand at espresso lattes by buying instant espresso coffee at my local grocery store.

I know, Chan, really instant coffee? Wow!

I want an espresso machine, have searched some up, but they’re not cheap either and the worst thing I could do right now is buy one of those machines and not know how to make a coffee drink.

It’s the process of teaching yourself that, before you make a big investment, test it first with what you have. While I know these two variables are quite different, they still have the same fundamental characteristics.

Sugar, flavoring, hot water, milk, froth, and ice.

The only difference is how the coffee beans are roasted and processed.

I learned that by watching a few coffee bean gurus on YouTube.

Okay, I know you’re probably like Chan… you’re losing me. What does this have to do with November?

Use what you already have to achieve your goals

While you may believe your goals need tons of fancy equipment, better this or better that, complete your goals with what you have.

Don’t let capitalism make you believe you need more.

November starts the season of heavy shopping, deals, and spending money. Each year, it feels like Christmas is getting talked about earlier and earlier.

Don’t let the world deter you from your goals this time of year because they’re trying to shove something down your throat. Rather, it’s a new recipe or a new game system – don’t fall victim to losing the point.

Stay consistent, not performative

In my opinion, being performative means completing actions and goals to say “I did it!” but not fully activating your power beyond it.

Consistency is the key to fully activating your power because you fuel it every time you “perform” it.

Does the espresso coffee recipe sound good now?

Do you understand why I said November is the month of new recipes?

We have our goals, we have our ways to complete them but consistency is what enriches them.

Sometimes a new recipe of routine can create a delicious result!

Alright, now back to my espresso latte fiscal

First time, disgusting. I was very unimpressed by a recipe I found on TikTok.

I went back to my roots.

Know your roots.

Found a recipe blog featuring a simple, basic espresso shake at home recipe, which changed my process. Shout out to Modern Eats Farmhouse for the cool recipes.

Same tools from the TikTok video, but better instructions. It was something I could follow and get down pack before I elevated it to my own.

I got this instant espresso coffee on Saturday, Oct. 24 and by Saturday, Nov.1, I am mixing up an espresso recipe at home simply by remembering my new recipe while adding my own touch.

Some would say that’s consistency, but I say that was a lesson in discipline.

Discipline sets you apart

To be disciplined is powerful; it’s a safeguard to perfecting your crafts, completing your goals and being a true powerhouse in growth.

Be disciplined and prompt, not just consistent.

November is the perfect month to start the mission of ending 2025 strong! You deserve a new opportunity, a new recipe, a new month of growth and strength.

Start today on that new recipe.
