Rather it’s media or food, you should always be mindful of what you consume.
From personal experience, I’ve learned that certain movies and television shows no longer serve me in terms of who I inspire to be so I stop watching them.
Believe it or not a lot of the content we consume can subconsciously have an impact on us.
It’s best to be mindful of what you consume because it can either make or break you.
To avoid it all is being mindful, knowing the intention and knowing you.
To know you – you gotta tap in with self first.
Speak kindly to yourself
If you know you’re a boss, say YOU’RE A BOSS.
Having affirmations is a great way to develop self esteem and confidence. I typically say a few affirmations daily to remind myself that I am that girl even on days when I don’t feel like it.
To have self-love, you have to speak to yourself kindly.
Affirmations to say
- I am stronger than I look
- God made me uniquely.

Have standards
Hold yourself to high standards that relate to your wellbeing.
Having standards is a great way to keep yourself grounded and focused. It allows you to pick and choose who you want around you, what you want to do and how to be the best you effortlessly.
I developed my standards after deciding what I didn’t want to deal with and sometimes that’s all it takes.
Overtime you will develop standards, the key is maintaining them.
