Spring outfits call for fun colors, groovy textures and patterns.
From mini skirts to blazers, spring is the best season to style various clothing pieces through layers and different textures. It’s not too hot nor too cold to pull off a look.
Look 1: Colors and textures

Creating maximalist looks using textures, patterns and bold colors. With this look, I wanted to explore how would this graphic tee pop off this cheetah print mini skirt and orange jacket.
Look 2: Bold statement

Lime green vest paired with a colorful mini skirt for a bold statement piece. I then added a pink handbag to bring out the pink in the mini skirt.
Look 3: Pleated skirt

Pairing different tones together for a cohesive look. I normally wouldn’t pair pink and navy blue but I loved how these look together.
Look 4: Styling pants

Groovy pants like my zebra pair go with anything! I decided to pair this look with a Hello Kitty graphic tee and denim jacket.

Look 5: Sports attire

I went to the Detroit Tigers’ Opening Day celebration with the Downtown Detroit Partnership and I wanted an outfit that was simple but also fun! I settled for this graphic tee look paired with some bold orange pants and a cropped hoodie.
Look 6: Cheetah tights and plaid

This look was one of the wildest looks I pulled this week. From blazers to cheetah print tights, I wanted this look to be wild and creative. It’s about mixing items that don’t go together but look good together.
Look 7: Graphic tees

Layering jewelry is another technique you can use for looks because it helps with accessorizing. I love graphic tees from the thrift shop with turlenecks and jeans.
