Michigan weather never fails to amaze me.
Detroit Tigers fans dressed in their best orange and navy blue shirts and gathered around Comerica Park for tailgates, food, and celebrations.
With the temperature below 50 degrees, it was a chilly celebration. A few flurries even made an appearance.
What I wore
My outfit inspiration for opening day was a matching pant set with a Detroit Tigers tee—I thrift the T-shirt from Value World during one of their sales.
I also paired this look with black booties and an orange handbag that I also got from Value World.
Where did I go: Downtown Detroit Partnership Opening Day Party
This is my second year attending the Downtown Detroit Partnership Opening Day party and it was packed.
Food trucks sold pizza, Greek food, egg rolls, and even funnel cakes.
Fans also could indulge in alcoholic drinks from Simply Lemonade Spiked, Miller Lite, Topo Chico Hard Seltzer and more!
Plus there were games to win prizes.

What I ate: Egg Roll Diva
This was my first time officially trying Egg Roll Diva and it was the most delicious egg roll I’ve ever eaten.
I even went back for seconds because I enjoyed it so much!
Overall thoughts
Detroit Tigers Opening Day 2024 was a great solo date for me to just get out of the house, and get some fresh air and some grub. Plus enjoy the festivities of opening day!
