Black-owned fashion brand gets major collab with popular cafe.
Brandon Blackwood, one of the hottest black designers out is getting a major collaboration with Starbucks according to a new release.
Here are the deeds:
What is the collaboration?

The “Sip and Sling” bag is a multifunctional strapped bag. It features a compartment for your “Starbucks Pink Drink” plus one for your cellphone and a space for cards.
This bag will come in two shades a bold pink hue or an ombré orange-ish shade to reflect Starbucks Paradise Drink.
“My designs are a reflection of my creativity and how my community inspires me, and I credit social media with not only helping me connect with them – but driving our popularity relatively quickly over the last few years,” said Blackwood in a written statement. “I like giving people fun and bold ways to accessorize and individually express themselves and I like how these drinks were fan inspired. Which is the reason why this collaboration with Starbucks and creating a bag for the new RTD Pink Drink and Starbucks® Paradise Drink makes so much sense.”
Starbucks also plans to drop an RTD Pink Drink and Starbucks Paradise Drink.
How to get the Sip and Sling?
Pre-orders begin April 28 at 9 a.m. PT and 12 p.m. EST on StarbucksSipandSling.com.
The bag retails for $75.
With this campaign Starbucks also plans to support the national organization Big Brothers Big Sisters to help support their efforts on youth empowerment.
