It’s time to tap in a bit; your art is needed in the world.
Give us something to enjoy, and feel alive like your favorite song does when you haven’t heard it for the day.
Let’s Get Into It
What is a creator?
Per Chandra Alilijah’s definition, it’s someone who constructs originality and authenticity using various meduims.
No, it’s not copy and paste with a dash of remix. That’s why I have my own definition.
Anyone can be given a rule book, but can you actually make something out of the rule book?
Be THE creator.
What to create
I suggest creating from the unknown.
I know that sounds kinda hectic, but it’s true. Try to think of items, projects, maybe even a story that doesn’t exist, but you desire for it to exist.
A sweet project that digs beyond what you see online, Pinterest, or in your neighborhood’s front yard. Create something enticing, rich in thought, and new.
Create something new.
Creatives need routine
We need a routine to keep us in the process. It contributes to the journey.
Something simple.
Maybe a bit of a to-do list, topped with a calendar, but don’t allow ourselves to be overwhelmed with dates.
Preparation.
Knowing what’s coming and adding value to it.
Preparing for outcomes that we know are creator-related.
Staying in the process even when it seems we’re in turbulence.

Going back to the roots
I had to go back to what I enjoyed as a kid to come back “center”. We talked about this year, staying grounded by nature, but how does a creative go back to nature, come back to center, and get lost?
That’s between you and guess who?
No one but God.
When you let God in, he’ll give you the talent you’re craving and the imagination that once fueled your soul.
It starts with an idea
Or better yet, it starts with curiosity, wanting to explore, seeking adventure, and discovering things you’ve never seen before, then adding your touch.
That’s another way to create. Finding inspiration from the world around you, whether it’s from going fishing or sitting in a chair.
How can you make the chair unique?
How can you upgrade the room the chair sits in?
I am choosing to win in every capacity
It starts with waking up. Can you wake up on time and get to your tasks?
Or will you fall short because you’re too sleepy?
Don’t be late to your own celebration, because you’re too afraid to win for yourself.
And it starts with a routine.
Let’s Talk About It
