That’s only two weeks.
You deserve it.
Let’s Get Into It
What are we doing for 14 days
We’re taking care of ourselves with outings, eating, crafting, sleeping in and becoming girl bosses without the world watching us. You can do this in the comfort of your home, at the park, or even at your local coffee shop. The goal is to take two weeks out of the month, mind your business, and enjoy your own company.
How can you incorporate the 14-day routine
It starts with a list of activities that you want to incorporate into your life without feeling they’re overly expensive, time-consuming, or a hassle.
First, pick a few activities.
- DIY crafts to try
- Movie nights with popcorn
- Wine nights
- Dancing around the living room
- A bubble bath
- Taking yourself out to dinner
- Reading a new book
- A morning at the park
- Trying a new recipe
Those are just a few ideas to help get you started. The goal is to have daily self-related activities to do for two weeks.
You’d better look good while doing this, too
Girl, I mean it. Don’t look bummy while doing yoga or going to the park. You ain’t gotta dress up like you’re going to New York Fashion Week, but you can at least wear a cute athleisure set to boost your momentum, a flowly dress or pair of shorts while having a mini picnic. At least do the activity in something that builds your confidence.
Why does it matter
As women specifically, we have to take care of ourselves more than just on the weekend. Every day should be an opportunity to support your health, mood, and mind if we’re being honest. It won’t look the same to everyone, but you should try your best to develop a routine that’s lovable, it makes you feel purposeful because you’re enjoying and taking care of yourself.

Don’t be afraid
Try new things, don’t repeat the same activities every month. Instead of movie night being at home, have a solo date at the movie theater. Instead of going to the coffee shop, buy your favorite ingredients and make coffee at home. Don’t be afraid to try new things in your 14-day routine.
It can be hard to keep the momentum, but hold yourself accountable. Add it to your calendar, and make it a requirement to journal about it every night as a reflection.
Keep it legal, but have fun!
Keep it personal
Do it alone. You can incorporate it with friends or family, but maybe it’s better to do it alone first.
I have some of my most fulfilling moments when it’s just me. That’s not to say I don’t enjoy family time, but I’ve truly learned to embrace time alone to listen, see and understand myself without the judgment of others.
Eventually turn it into 30 days
If you want to do the whole month, go for it. Make an effort to make daily notes so that you can enjoy your life, not just as a woman in a powerful position, but as a woman who is taking care of herself behind closed doors.
Always make time to be the total you.
