Spring is a groovy season to thrift.
I typically enjoy fall and winter thrifting for knits, but you can find some cool items during the warmer months, like handbags, shoes, and even vintage denim shorts.
The spring thrift plan for 2026:
I need a new pair of…

Let’s start with bottoms. Are we doing denim? Trousers? Or even midi skirts this spring? I believe it’s powerful to find a new type of bottoms to incorporate into your wardrobe.
With spring arriving, you can do more colorful hues and bold prints. Have fun with denim; instead of the typical dark blue denim, try a lighter acid wash. You truly never know how one unique bottom can spice up an outfit until you source a pair that changes your whole wardrobe.
Blouses, no cotton
Leave the cotton shirts at the thrift and seek the 90s blouses to spice up your look. Spring is the perfect season for flowy blouses. Good for work, and a late evening stroll near the river. You’re chic, fly, and a true fierce woman with a sexy blouse.
Vintage handbags
I want to see you find a random handbag at the thrift and style around it. Allow it to be the statement piece; let the bag do the talking.
Looks are typically curated from shirts, the bottoms, or the shoes, but this time, let’s get unique!

Accessories are always in

Since layering with those heavy coats or wool scarves is going out of season, you can layer with accessories. Like jewelry, hats, silk scarves, or socks.
Spring is the season to sport your groovy tote bags with bold statements, bedazzled socks, or the silk scarf you got from Givenchy. If you can thrift a Givenchy scarf, you may be the final boss.
The DIY era
Found something you want to upcycle? Even better! Give it a new hemline; you can truly make something sassy or less sassy with a simple stitch.
Use fabric paint to create an artistic design.
Don’t be afraid of adding gems to create a masterpiece.
Something you don’t already own
Thrift for items that aren’t already in your closet so you can piece the new items with your old things. It’s like a fun matching game between all your clothing.
An experimental piece

Don’t be afraid to thrift something you’re really unsure about. An experimental piece is the dress, which you would normally put back at H&M, but feel curious to buy at the thrift.
Give it a shot; it could be your favorite piece.
