It’s a lover girl typa thang

Sometimes all you need is a little you time.

Spent the weekend taking care of myself and my loved ones!

Valentine’s weekend came and left, but I can truly say that for the most part, I enjoyed my time.

Let’s Get Into It

The business hottie came first

I’ve spent the majority of the year so far…if we’re being honest, planning for this craft night.

My small business, 6:23 Detroit Shop, participated in a craft party with The Congregation for Valentine’s Day, and it was pretty iconic.

Our craft was a love letter kit that featured a heart-shaped card and embellishments to create your own!

One time for the peppered turkey

Despite falling in love with pretzels and raspberries, I made sure to create one of my typical charcuterie boards this weekend!

Adding dill pickles was the best thing I’ve done so far lol!

Made ourselves a sweet candle

On Friday, I spent my evening at a candle-making class with Blossom Bright Candle Company, a small business specializing in handcrafted candles.

Their event was hosted at Rivertown Market, and I had a great time making my own soy-based candle!

It was a sweater-type Valentine’s Day fit featuring my two new Detroit Hottie-themed buttons from 6:23 Detroit Shop.

Business was my Valentine

I spent the majority of my weekend either working for 6:23 or working my actual job. While I’ve would’ve enjoyed being with my boo, who doesn’t exist yet…

It was a good weekend to spend some time with my mom, try new business avenues, and learn how retail works as a business owner.
