Get back to your creative roots.
Having hobbies is a great way to exercise your skills, learn new ones and get creative!
This year, I plan to try a few new hobbies while also perfecting the ones I practiced last year.
Let’s Get Into It:
1. Do an art project

Bringing out the paint is a great way to express your artistic skills and create a piece of work that you can use daily. From flower pots to canvas, spice up your space with new artwork.
2. Learn to sew
Seeking to make an iconic wardrobe? Learning how to sew is a start to creating the wardrobe of your dreams, even if you begin small with a tote bag or a coin purse. Create moodboard of ideas and source fabrics.
You can also practice upcycling by using items you already own and creating new pieces.
3. Start gardening

Whether you start with house plants or outdoor gardening, using your green thumb is a good way to get connected with nature and improve your living environment.

4. Create a junk journal
If journaling is too hard, try junk journaling. Collect your old receipts, pictures, and tickets and start documenting them in a blank or dotted journal.

5. Practice the art of charcuterie boards

Charcuterie boards are a great dish to bring to a party or enjoy on an afternoon with a glass of wine! Start pairing your favorite cured meats, cheeses with grapes, nuts and more yummy eats!
6. Build puzzles
There’s nothing like putting together a 500-piece puzzle when you haven’t completed one in a long time. Take the time out this year to get back into building puzzles.
