It’s true, get productive, find a hobby, or get crafty.
Make a new dish and have some family time.
You need some spring hobbies that bring you away from your phone.
Let’s Get Into It
Paint for a bit

Grab the paint brushes, the canvases, and of course, don’t forget the paint!
Paint randomly, don’t feel it has to be perfect. Sometimes the best art is the glob of colors on a page.
Plant flowers
Buy seeds, vases, and use your green thumb!
Planting in May is perfect because you’re getting an early start with the warm weather.
Go for a bike ride

Grab your bike or head to a park and rent one. Riding a bike is great exercise, plus you can explore new destinations.

Make an outdoor meal
It’s time to get on the grill.
Pinterest has so many “on the grill recipes” for you to dabble in. You can try pizza, burgers, shrimp, or chicken.
Even vegetables.
Junk journaling

Get crafty and bring out the blank journal and your coolest trash (literally)
Junk journaling is the art of making a blank page spread using old or new materials. You can create junk journal pages of restaurants you visited using old napkins, receipts, or even photos of food. You can also create spreads of trips, concerts, or of your family and friends.

Go to the park

Going to the park is one of my favorite hobbies in May because I go for walks, ride my bike, or even sit by the water!
You can journal, read a book, or eat lunch.
Try journaling
If you’re into writing or want to enhance your writing, start journaling. Journaling is the perfect exercise to jot down your thoughts and release feelings.
