C.Alilijah"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Because if I ever liked you, just know it was the teeth, the smile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I will always look out for future lil babies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Let&#8217;s Get Into It<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Those dang 20 somethings<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Career, business development, friend moments, breakups, and men being strategic. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So, strategic that you sit back and laugh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Normally, I wouldn&#8217;t waste space on my blog dogging the men. <em>Who cares?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nobody asked. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, as I hit 26, I got something to get off my chest. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Let&#8217;s call this, breaking the wall, the glass, the plate, taking the lid off something. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Men who prey on the &#8220;good girl&#8221;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What is a good girl? Is she quiet? To herself? Is she pretty but kinda nerdy, needs her life spiced up?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He sees the potential. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It&#8217;s like when the popular girl sees the nerd and wants to give them an upgrade. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But then it&#8217;s like, wait she&#8217;s becoming too popular now, she&#8217;s too cool now? How can I knock her down?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The same one you built up. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is that<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Is it jealousy? Bad judgement? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It&#8217;s not friendship, it&#8217;s not<em> family<\/em>, it&#8217;s not&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Wait, Chan. Why are we doing this?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That was so yesterday&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It was, but let me finish. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Why do men prey on the vulnerable?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No, no. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">It&#8217;s not men, boys prey, men pray<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">See what I did there?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Boys prey. Men pray.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Boys use women, any. For sex, for gain, attention, even for fame. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But see, men? Real men, what is a real man?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I am not defining that today, that&#8217;s for you to know. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you don&#8217;t get it, stop reading. This isn&#8217;t for you. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Anyway. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Men, men are different. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Men don&#8217;t have to use women for gain, for attention, for sex, for fame, or better yet for growth. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Men come equipped<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Have you heard about the men who talk to God? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yeah, that&#8217;s a different breed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nah, he ain&#8217;t online telling the whole world he saved and reposting bible quotes, he&#8217;s connected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A little birdie told me, he got God on speed dial. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And guess what?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Men who have God on speed dial, they ain&#8217;t taking from women. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They add on. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They build.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For longevity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Not for clout, not for a pay raise and 15 seconds of feeling special. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dang, didn&#8217;t that end quick?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Nobody is talking about that anymore?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Women pray over men, girls prey on boys<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I used to be &#8220;delulu&#8221;, I used to crash out. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">May even still crash out because I aint deserve that ticket. But that&#8217;s cool because that&#8217;s just my exit ticket. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">See, women. A real woman, noooo not just because she got boobs and a butt. Nah, real women. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They move different. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Before she knows your name, she praying over you, daily. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That&#8217;s why they prey on the real women, because ooh she&#8217;s so enticing. You just want to know more and more, and more and more. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">MOREEEEE. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But can you handle the more?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Back to the quiet girl<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Why she quiet?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dang, I can&#8217;t sit in my corner and mind my business? I mean, thank you for the attention but I knew who I was when I stepped inside. I knew who I was when I gave you the eye but dang I didn&#8217;t think that was all you needed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The difference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Boys prey with their eyes, men pray with their hands. What do you even call that?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">How do quiet girls get caught up?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Is it because we&#8217;re so nice? So kind? Misunderstood?<\/em> Or taken as a fool? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ooh, and you know what else<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It&#8217;s a shame, it&#8217;s a shame how <em>dangerous<\/em> she gets when reality snaps back. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I needed you to test my gangsta, test my vibe. Piss me off a bit, turn it up a bit. Make you go home and cry to your momma a bit. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That&#8217;s how real it get. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But see, when you move in deceit the beast has to unleash. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">When the prey loses<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It&#8217;s an ugly sight. Woo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sometimes, I just have to say, &#8220;How? How? How we get here?&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But baby, that reality of, &#8220;I didn&#8217;t like you anyway&#8221; and actually meaning it? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It puts things in perspective. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It makes things flow. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;I was never supposed to go&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But we pivot, we move on. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The beauty of a butterfly<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Quiet women. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She&#8217;s not quiet, she doesn&#8217;t know you. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Maybe that&#8217;s a good thing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She&#8217;s a woman resting peacefully in her cocoon waiting to blossom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Her blossom season is ongoing, it&#8217;s beautiful and she meets hers <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The man. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When God shifts his plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With Love,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">C.Alilijah<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It wasn&#8217;t the teeth, or the smile.
