Monday was blah. Michigan weather is so dreary, and we\u2019re in March: no sun, very cold, and a drastic wind. I can\u2019t complain because last year was rain, more rain, and RAIN.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What do you do when the weather is so poo and your mood is too? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You CREATE. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

What did I create today <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Some new images for my blog promo. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I had just gotten home from a Kroger run and was feeling a bit down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eating a plate of cold pasta, I thought, what if I went to my space and did a quick self-portrait as a pick-me-up?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I liked my outfit, my curls turned out cute today, and I needed new promo photos. Plus, my backdrop and lighting were already set up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The concept <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

White backdrop, nothing fancy, because I wanted my top and jewelry to be the main focus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I set up my tripod and pulled my stool in front of the backdrop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you haven\u2019t noticed by now, I\u2019ve been a little MIA from taking pictures and posting a bit because I\u2019ve been focusing on the blog!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stepping back into my creativity<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

It showed in the first photos that I was unhappy, or I\u2019d been disconnected from my creativity. I am expressing myself through my writing, but I haven\u2019t been consistent with self-portraits and street fashion photos lately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I looked sad, unsure, and not very confident in what I was doing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There\u2019s a photo of my late aunt hanging in my space, and when I looked over at it, it\u2019s like she screamed at me, \u201cGirl, you gotta give a little more!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
