{"id":4896,"date":"2025-05-14T23:33:20","date_gmt":"2025-05-15T03:33:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/chandraalilijah.com\/?p=4896"},"modified":"2025-07-29T04:52:10","modified_gmt":"2025-07-29T08:52:10","slug":"5-tips-on-staying-grounded-by-nature-in-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chandraalilijah.com\/index.php\/2025\/05\/14\/5-tips-on-staying-grounded-by-nature-in-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"5 tips on staying grounded \u201cby nature\u201d in 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>There\u2019s power in connecting with nature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When I think of the saying, \u201cStay grounded by nature,\u201d a few definitions come to mind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One is connecting yourself back to Earth, or what you believe in, to remain whole, or to find yourself!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In life, whether it\u2019s your job, family, or relationships, they may affect you in a way that makes you lose a sense of your identity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I am a free-will type of girl with morality. I develop my opinions to fit my needs and interests, to personalize the experience and not allow what society says to deem me right or wrong &#8211; there\u2019s power in individuality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, practicing grounding is a great way to learn to appreciate and value life\u2019s simplest qualities, like nature. It\u2019s going outside &#8211; barefoot, lying in the grass, soaking up the sun, and finding the joy of nature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Here are some ways I stay grounded by nature : <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. Set intentions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>When I plan a trip to explore nature, I ask myself, &#8220;Okay, why do I want to do it?&#8221; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Am I just getting some fresh air, or seeking a reset?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Why do I practice resets?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Resets allow me to break out of what\u2019s bothering me and reconnect to my purpose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We all have purposes in this life, and sometimes life will kick you off that purpose. Practicing resets (staying grounded by nature) helps you get back there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>See what I did there? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Be intentional with everything you do in this life. Teach yourself that it&#8217;s okay to make mistakes, but reflect on your intention behind them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Feel free to <strong>always<\/strong> ask yourself, \u201cWhy am I doing this?\u201d. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Bring a journal<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>I am a journaling advocate. Journaling has been a very peaceful and rewarding way for me. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s connected to my way of grounding because when I sit by the water, I bring my journal and reflect!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the biggest ways I place myself in nature is jotting down while I am in the moment &#8211; what I hear, what I see, and how I feel being around them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Writing in the moment and using your five senses is a perfect way to ground yourself. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. Practice your hobbies<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s not always easy to go to a park, sit in the grass, and lie there. It can be daunting and a bit uncomfortable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To combat that, bring your hobbies along. Bring that coloring book or that puzzle. Find a hobby that\u2019s connected to you and practice it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Why should I practice hobbies and get grounded at the same time?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You&#8217;re enriching yourself in the activities that already bring you to wholeness. The only difference is now, you\u2019re just outdoors. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I can\u2019t explain it, but it\u2019s amazing to be outside doing something I love on a warm day with the sun shining.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5. Develop YOU effortlessly<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>During this period, take some time to reflect and appreciate YOU truly. The power of grounding is rooted in individuality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I have my best moments in nature when I am alone there.
