Junk journaling was supposed to be a breeze for me; super simple and super easy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In actuality, it was a mess! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It wasn\u2019t entirely horrible, but I realized that junk journaling takes time and a bit of patience as well! Or maybe I am overthinking it?!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, here\u2019s my breakdown of why I HATED my first junk journal spread: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Decorating the cover page <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To start my journal off, I wanted to decorate the cover page to something that represented me! Initially, I wanted it to be a \u201cWho this belongs to type of thing?\u201d <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Place before you glue<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I realized after 10 glued pieces later that I hated how everything was coming together. From the giant picture I slapped on the left corner to the random letter placement – I was losing the plot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The better concept – place your items out and see how it will look before you GLUE. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
