2024 is the perfect time to toss out ALL your clothing and start over.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Okay, you do not have to throw out your entire wardrobe, but the beginning of the new year is a great time to toss the clothes you no longer wear to help declutter your closet. Plus, it helps make room for new clothing items.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here is a guide on how to get rid of your old clothes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Get a box<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

It does not have to be a big box it can be a regular-size box or bag.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Remember, the bigger the box, the more you have to donate. The goal is to fill the box or bag with items you no longer want.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Find donation centers<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

There are many donation centers throughout Michigan where you can donate your old clothing instead of just throwing the item out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Decide on what to donate <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Once you have found a donation center, check out their website or give a call for guidelines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mentally prepare yourself to toss clothing items you no longer need or wear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I typically break it down by closet, drawer by drawer and go from there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
