The summer is the perfect time for trial and error because you get more hours of sunlight.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Buy a tripod, shoot outfit photos, start creating Instagram Reels, TikTok\u2019s, start vlogging your life. To not only create content that could help others but to also document your life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Plan a sunny beach day<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Pick a sunny summer day for you and friends or family where you all can go and soak up the sun. Look up your local beach and plan a trip.&nbsp;Make it fun by bringing your favorite beach accessories, games and foods. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are looking for a new beach tote, check this woven one from Amazon. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-amazon wp-block-embed-amazon\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"HOXIS Mesh Beach Tote Womens Shoulder Handbag Large\" type=\"text\/html\" width=\"640\" height=\"550\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen style=\"max-width:100%\" src=\"https:\/\/read.amazon.com\/kp\/card?preview=inline&#038;linkCode=ll1&#038;ref_=k4w_oembed_LY5uScbLZ4iX6M&#038;asin=B07TB6CW3R&#038;tag=chandraalilij-20\"><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3.Try new restaurants&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>There are many TikTok\u2019s pages that showcase good food and locations for tourist and residents to visit in different cities. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/t\/ZTdvwv3LC\/\">VibesDetroit<\/a> is a great TikTok page that shows tasty restaurants and bars in the city Detroit or in Michigan. They also have a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vibesdet.com\/\">website <\/a>that is great for finding out new places in the city. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. Take a Vacation <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-medium\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/chandraalilijah.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/img_2498.jpg?resize=225%2C300&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1965\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/chandraalilijah.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/img_2498.jpg?resize=225%2C300&amp;ssl=1 225w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/chandraalilijah.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/img_2498.jpg?resize=768%2C1024&amp;ssl=1 768w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/chandraalilijah.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/img_2498.jpg?w=900&amp;ssl=1 900w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have the funds, or even if you can save a couple hundreds, buy that plane ticket or even train ticket. Take that chance to explore a new city. You can even plan a road trip. Not sure if that\u2019s best idea in these gas prices though!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5. Spend a day or evening at your local park.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Grab your favorite book, drink and blanket and head to the park. Find parks in quiet neighbors to have a more peaceful evening. Or you can go when kids are at school or around the time it\u2019s not going to be a lot of people out to enjoy the quietness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> If you need a book recommendation, check this one out called &#8220;Grown&#8221; by Tiffany D. Have a luxury picnic&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Gather friends, family or yourself and plan a luxury picnic date. Pinterest and TikTok have multiple videos and tips on how to plan the best picnic. Pick out your favorite decor or just a blanket and favorite foods. Don\u2019t forget the bug spray.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">7. Girls night at the bar <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video height=\"1232\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 656 \/ 1232;\" width=\"656\" controls src=\"https:\/\/chandraalilijah.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/filtered-583dab1c-740d-4a24-baef-2fae2eee17f6.mp4\"><\/video><figcaption>\u201cthank u next\u201d from Pinky\u2019s Rooftop Bar in Royal Oak Michigan <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Take a trip to a local bar in your city and get drinks with friends or by yourself. It\u2019s a great summer night out and can even lead to other things. Who knows you might find your future boo!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">8. Plan a night out in the city&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Go to dinner then maybe visit your city\u2019s local museums. Find something fun your city has to offer. If you\u2019re in Michigan, check out <a href=\"tps:\/\/www.detroitvangogh.com\">The Immersive Van Gogh Exhibit Detroit<\/a> which runs through September 5. Tickets start at $39.00.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">9. Throw a backyard party&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s nothing like grilling hotdogs and hamburgers on the grill or even finding a new recipe on Pinterest you would try on the grill. Have friends or family bring their favorite dishes and plan a day out in the backyard. Don&#8217;t forget to bring supplies to make S&#8217;mores!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">10. Detroit has new exhibits, fun activities downtown that many could enjoy. Remember your summer is what YOU make it. Try that new recipe, trip to a new city, or restaurant!
